Rayadas History

In 2017, the Liga MX Femenil was created and with it came the Rayadas of Monterrey, which has become one of the best teams in the short history of the competition.

In the Clausura 2018 and Clausura 2019, Rayadas came close to the title by finishing runner-up.

In the Apertura 2019, the Monterrey team, coached by Héctor Becerra, reached the Final. In the first leg, played on November 29 at the Estadio Universitario, they drew 1-1 with Tigres Femenil with a goal from Annia Mejia.

On December 7, 2019, they won 1-0 with a goal from Diana Evangelista, thus winning their first league title.

In the Guardianes 2020 Tournament, Rayadas returned to the Final, but finished runner-up.

In June 2021, Eva Espejo took over as coach of Rayadas. In their first tournament, the Apertura 2021, Monterrey won their second league title, once again defeating Tigres Femenil.

In the first leg of the Final, played at the Estadio BBVA, Rayadas drew 2-2 with an own goal and a score from Lizette Rodriguez.

In the second leg, played at the Estadio Universitario, after a scoreless draw, Rayadas won 3-1 on penalty kicks.

Desirée Monsiváis, Mariana Cadena and Rebeca Bernal scored from the penalty spot and goalkeeper Alexandría Godínez had a brilliant performance.
