Club de Futbol Monterrey announces that defender Karol Bernal has concluded her successful chapter with Rayadas de Monterrey.

Karol joined Club de Futbol Monterrey in the Apertura 2018 tournament and, at just 15 years old, made her professional debut in Liga BBVA MX Femenil.

During her first stint with Monterrey, Karol played 22 matches and was part of the team that won the Apertura 2019 championship.

She was consistently called up to Mexico’s U-15 and U-17 National Teams.

In December 2020, Bernal joined Chivas. Two years later, she returned to Rayadas with more experience and contributed to the 2024 back-to-back championship.

Thanks to her outstanding performances, Bernal was called up to Mexico’s Senior Women’s National Team on several occasions.

The Mexican defender played 137 matches for Monterrey, distributed as follows: 128 in Liga BBVA MX Femenil, 2 in Campeón de Campeonas, 3 in the Summer Cup, and 4 in the Concacaf W Champions Cup.
