RAYADOS GOES FOR RECORD OF 8 WINS IN A ROW!

20 de September de 2025. 11:14 am.

Rayados, on the hunt for the record!

Monterrey will host Águilas of América this Saturday, September 20, at 8:05 p.m. at Estadio BBVA, for Matchday 9 of the 2025 Apertura Tournament.

If they defeat América, Rayados will equal their historic record of eight consecutive wins in the Liga BBVA MX, which they achieved in the 1963-1964 season under the technical direction of Roberto Scarone.

On that occasion, the Monterrey team defeated Irapuato, Atlante, Nacional, Oro, Guadalajara, Necaxa, Toluca, and León.

In the current tournament, Monterrey has accumulated seven consecutive wins, after defeating San Luis, Atlas, León, Mazatlán, Necaxa, Puebla, and Querétaro.

With this string of victories under Domenec Torrent in the current 2025 Apertura, Rayados has already equaled its second-best winning streak in Liga BBVA MX. In the 2023 Clausura Tournament, they also won seven games under Víctor Manuel Vucetich.

The blue-and-white team comes into the match against América as the competition leader with 21 points; it has the second-best offense with 18 goals scored and the second-best defense with 9 goals conceded.

Sergio Canales and Germán Berterame are tied for second place in the scoring table with five goals. Lucas Ocampos is close behind with four goals in the tournament.

Come on, Rayados! Let's go for the historic record!

ARRIVE EARLY AND WELCOME ANTHONY MARTIAL

Before the start of the match, at 8:00 p.m., the Club will officially present Anthony Martial to the fans as a new Rayados player.

Fans will also be able to welcome Emily Gielnik, Day Silva, Lourdes Bosch, Ashlyn Fernández, and Allison Veloz as Rayadas players.

We hope to see you there for an early start!
