Sergio Ramos, defender and captain of Rayados de Monterrey, was responsible for throwing out the first pitch in the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres, held at the iconic Dodger Stadium.

The Rayados player was welcomed by Kike Hernandez, the Dodgers' Puerto Rican utility player, who caught the pitch and exchanged jerseys with the Spanish soccer player.

Miguel Rojas, Venezuelan shortstop for Los Angeles, also greeted Ramos before the game.

This represents a historic moment for the Club and for the Rayados fans, seeing a Rayados player step onto the mound of the stadium where legends such as Fernando Valenzuela shone and where Mexican pitcher Victor Gonzalez now stands out.

Sergio Ramos, who recently scored Rayados' goal in his debut against Inter Milan in the Club World Cup, proudly represented the blue and white colors, toured the facilities, and received a commemorative MLB championship ring.

Dodger Stadium has hosted major sporting and cultural events, and celebrities such as basketball players Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, as well as singer Billie Eilish, have also thrown out the first pitch.
