The support of the Rayadas fans remained constant in Clasico Regio 35!

Monterrey and Tigres Femenil played to a goalless draw in a thrilling match played at Estadio BBVA during Matchday 11 of the Clausura 2024 Tournament.

The match had some great moments: Rayadas came close to opening the scoring and Pamela Tajonar made a spectacular save on a penalty kick.

The first dangerous play came at minute 9, when Myra Delgadillo took advantage of a poor exit by the opposition's goalkeeper, Cecilia Santiago, to send a cross that was rejected by the visiting defense for a corner kick.

Minutes later, Pamela Tajonar had a great reaction to a free kick taken by Jaqueline Ovalle and kept the ball.

At minute 31, Alejandra Lua fought the ball inside the area and the referee awarded Tigres a penalty kick.

Pamela Tajonar saved the penalty kick from Stephany Mayor. Amazing, Pamela!

In the second half, the team coached by Amelia Valverde maintained their intensity and searched for the opponent's goal, but the scoreboard remained unchanged.

Just at the start of the second half, Merel Van Dongen took a free kick from three-quarters of the field that went just past the post.

Rebeca Bernal took headed the ball in an acrobatic way at minute 62, after a free kick taken by Nicole Perez, but the ball went just wide.

At minute 84, Christina Burkenroad came close to scoring with a shot that went through the legs of goalkeeper Cecilia Santiago, who was able to recover the ball on the goal line.

With this result, Rayadas have 22 points and remain in second place in the overall standings.

Next Thursday, March 28, at 7:00 p.m., Rayadas will visit Atlas Femenil at the Jalisco Stadium for Matchday 12.
