Rayados will host León this Saturday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Estadio BBVA, for Matchday 8 of the Apertura 2023.

Monterrey is in ninth place of the season standings, with 10 points, and a win could put them in fourth place.

The team, coached by Fernando Ortiz, will be looking for the three points against León and to repeat what they did in the last meeting between the two teams at home, when they defeated León 5-1. 

Rayados is the best defense in the tournament, along with Atlas, having allowed only 5 goals in 6 matches played.

This match could mark the official return of Jesús "Tecatito" Corona to the fields with Rayados, who returned to Monterrey after 10 years of success in European soccer.
