Rayadas de Monterrey will play a friendly match against Portland Thorns on Friday, March 6th, at 7:00 p.m. (Portland Time, 9:00 p.m. in México) at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon, in the United States.

This will be the second time Rayadas and Thorns have faced each other, as in 2022 the Rayadas played Portland in the Women's International Champions Cup Semifinal.

On that opportunity, the blue-and-white team advanced to the Final after tying 1-1 in regular time with a goal by Diana García and defeating the locals 3-2 in penalties, with goals by Daniela Solis, Yamile Franco, and Lizette Rodríguez.

In the end, Monterrey faced Olympique Lyonnais of France and took second place in this international competition.

Now, Rayadas will seek to defeat Portland during the March FIFA date and maintain their competitive momentum for the second half of the 2026 Clausura Tournament.

Rayadas is currently the overall leader of the tournament in the Liga BBVA MX Femenil.
